Lastly, one more idea:

You can have a PAELLA prepared at your holiday home, on Sundays or Mondays.

From 9 persons – price about 15,00 Euro p.P. – There is mixed paella, paella with seafood or vegetarian paella. The chef, Norberto, brings all the ingredients, a large pan and a stovetop. If you want, also appetizers or drinks.

Talk to us about it.

There are some typical food in Majorca, which are less offered in the tourist restaurants, but are usually part of the Mallorcan restaurants:

  1. Pa amb Oli – bread with some garlic, Mallorca tomato and oil, topped with e.g. Ham, cheese, tuna or Majorcan sausages such as Botifarró, Camaiot or Sobrassada
  2. Trempó salad of paprika, tomato, cucumber and often with tuna
  3. Arròs Brut – rice stew
  4. Anfós a la Mallorquina – Grouper
  5. Caldereta – fish stew
  6. Tumbet – aubergines, peppers and potatoes, cooked in tomato
  7. Conill – rabbit with onion
  8. Porcella rostida – roasted suckling pig
  9. Escaldums – ragout of chicken or turkey with almonds
  10. Llom amb Col – pork loin in cabbage leaves
  11. Gató – almond cake
  12. Gelat d’ametlla – almond ice cream
  13. Ensaïmada – Spiral-shaped, very sweet particle or cake baked in pork lard
  14. Herbes – herbal brandy

A very good opportunity to get to know the Mallorcan cuisine, and inexpensive to eat, is the obligatory lunch menu.
