This is a beautiful finca in Son Macià, on the east coast of Majorca.

Countless flowers, a wine tree shading the terrace, pomegranate and plum trees, hibiscus and oleander are among the beautiful plants that be found in this wonderful country side house. For generations the finca has belonged to the same family. In 2012 they built the pool which they commissioned to the same architect who also renovated the interior. The result is a comfortable, stylish holiday home which fits perfectly into the traditional Mallorcan countryside and which also offers perfect comfort to its guests.

Right before the house entrance a wide rubble stone terrace offers beautiful views into the country side and hosts a dining table that sits in the shade of two old vines trees. From the terrace in front of the old farm house there is a set of stairs that lead to the nine meter long pool. Modern sun beds are on one side of the pool and on the other side there is a valley of almond and olive trees. The view of the hills of the east coast from here is amazing.
In the front side of the house there is the kitchen and the living room; behind a heavy wooden door opens to the two story house. The renovated rooms, with arches made with the local mares (sandstone) and the natural stone floor were tastefully made and result really pleasant and cool during the hot summer months.

Upstairs there is a terrace and also three bedrooms, one of them with an en-suite bathroom.
WIFI and satellite TV are installed in the house.

Son Macià is an idyllic village that lies between the hills, about two miles away from this property. At the village square there are nice cafés, a bakery and a supermarket with fresh products. The beaches of the east coast are not far away!

Stylish holiday home with large pool, outdoor kitchen, air conditioning, modern furnishings and wonderful views of Son Macia.

Until May 2022, the historic classified finca has been extensively renovated, technically brought into the 21st century, but atmospherically and visually left in the traditional Majorcan style.

The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a gas barbecue, a 3-burner gas cooker, charcoal grill, hot water and work surfaces. The large table in front of it will certainly be a central place of your holiday, but you will also often lie on a sun lounger under the olive tree, which casts its shade a few metres away to the side of the pool for many years. A few steps down is the second large terrace, in front of the kitchen of the Finca Fabula. With over 200 square metres of terrace space, for sure you will find a suitable spot. And then there is also the large space in front of the house with the rustic wooden table, the perfect breakfast terrace.

The kitchen and the living-dining room, which is a little further down the road, have semicircular ceilings. The door and window lintels, built centuries ago, are all not so 100 per cent straight, but certainly 100 per cent charming. The finca is also charming, furnished in a minimal way, but to the point: handmade Mallorcan tiles, a 50x50cm glass pane in the floor there, with a view into the underground cistern, round brick showers and so on. You’ll see!

The three bedrooms upstairs each have air conditioning.  Of these, two are flat bedrooms, so they have an anteroom and en suite bathroom. Another bedroom is on the ground floor and has no air conditioning.

Furthermore, there is another flat with a separate entrance, two floors and access to the bathroom, where the washing machine is also located.

For bureaucratic reasons we are only allowed to accommodate six people in the house, although there are five bedrooms.

Heaven will have to wait, for now you can enjoy a heavenly holiday in peace and quiet.

This is a newly built property and a newly furnished holiday home with a pool and wi-fi connection among other commodities.

The finca is sublime. It stands alone on a mountain right above the little village of Son Macià and it is only 15 km far away from the sea. The finca is part of a nature reserve with the historic ruins of a chapel, tall pine trees and wild olives trees and six donkeys that can be found eating in the property.
The views of the valleys and the mountain where the monastery of Sant Salvador is and that one gets from the property is something that will remain unforgettable.
The eight per four meters pool and the sun terrace with a shower and six new sun-beds is located next to the house. A beautiful pergola covers a large part of the terrace; this is the perfect spot to have breakfast, brunch, lunch and cozy evenings.

Access to the house from the covered terrace is through a wide patio door. In the living room there is corner sofa, satellite TV, a dining table with six chairs; all furniture is was bought mid-April 2013. The central living and dining room have an open fireplace. From the living area one has access to the other rooms: the bedrooms (with new beds and mattresses), bathrooms (one with shower and one with bath tub) and the simply beautiful and well equipped kitchen.

From here one can easily reach many of the beautiful beaches of the east coast, as well as the northern beaches of Artà. Several Villages like Son Macià or Porto Colom (with its beautiful harbor) are nearby and waiting for you to discover them. Manacor, the second biggest city of Mallorca is also a short drive away.

Finca Basti is idyllically situated on a small mountain above Son Macia. From here you have a view of valleys and hills with almond and olive groves, isolated country houses and the mountain range of the south-east coast with the striking monastery mountain Sant Salvador in the centre.

The location and view are simply wonderful and will please you again every day of your holiday and at any time of day. The sun sets over the Tramuntana and offers you a cinematic spectacle every evening.

From here, you can be in Son Macia in three minutes by car. Around the small village square there is a well-stocked small supermarket, two restaurants with a lunch menu and an evening menu, two bars and a church. Some beaches on the east coast, such as Cala Mandia or Cala Romantica, as well as the fishing villages of Porto Cristo and Porto Colom can be reached in about 15 minutes.

The finca is built at ground level and has three bedrooms. WIFI and SAT-TV are installed. In the front part of the house are the kitchen and the living room with direct access to the large terrace. At the back are the bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, one with a bathroom en suite, as well as a room with the washing machine and plenty of storage space. Finca Basti is uncomplicated, practical and very welcoming.

You and your family will have a very relaxing holiday here and will certainly spend most of your time on the terrace and in the beautiful pool.
You will be able to watch the sun go down all day, enjoy the view and think how beautiful Mallorca is.
